Alvarado & Bennett is a government relations consulting firm dedicated to the task of connecting our business clients to appropriate levels of the federal government to the mutual benefit of each.
The firm was founded by Susan E. Alvarado in 1987 following her distinguished career in public service in the U.S. Senate as the first female floor assistant
to the Assistant Minority Leader and later as assistant for legislative affairs for the Vice President.
We are an independent firm combining the talents of legislative and legal consultants who have a broad array of experience in the legislative process of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives
as well as the workings of federal agencies. With our combined talents, we are able to deliver strategic advice and counsel on how best to do business with the government and make the proper contacts
together with or on behalf of our clients to assist them in achieving their business goals. Our experience is in the areas of defense, telecommunications, appropriations, and postal issues.
